Each nation has its leaders to set its policy and execute the policy. So each wants its leaders to be free from all influence by foreign nations.

Most nations have laws to prevent dual citizens from holding its government positions and also tries its best to prevent its leaders from being blackmailed with their hidden pasts and their closeness to people from adversarial nations. This is the basis for the intelligence agencies of each country to worry about its leaders.

However there is a strange application of this concept against the current non-establishment President of the USA.

1. America does not prevent people with dual citizenships holding Congress and Senate offices.

This is quite strange in view of the requirements in Australia, Russia and Israel on comparative position.

After the failure of Nixon’s administration to take away American citizenships from people with foreign citizenships [1, 2, 3, 4], US Congress should have strengthened the laws against dual citizenships. On the contrary, the system has since allowed people with dual citizenships to stand for elected offices.

The concept of “Dual Citizens holding high Elected Offices” is outrageous to Australians [5-10] and citizens of many other countries such as Russia [11-14], China [15], Israel [16] but is not for Americans [17, 18, 19].

Soon USA may have a President born in the USA but is also holding a foreign citizenship by birth or by the grant of citizenship from some foreign nation !

2. All President and lawmakers should be free from foreign influence and possibility of being blackmailed.

However only Donald Trump is being under multipronged investigation on himself, his private life, and on anyone having collaborated with him.

There are other cases which are more deserving of investigation.

FBI used the discredited story supplied by Mr. Steele to suspect that President Trump has been black mailed by Russia [T1-T2]. What is the worst case even if the story by Steele is true? A man is playing his uninhibited sex game that is not too strange for rich billionaires or Hollywood characters. The results are inconsequential.

On the other hand, the consequences of black mailing on other American political leadeŕs may throw them off their thrones and they would do anything to preserve their thrones.

3. Former Secretary of State and Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton with the Clinton Foundation and Haiti relief fund.

“There was good reason to bury this. For four years Hillary Clinton sent all the American secrets she had to China”.[C1]

There are more dangerous signs on this former Presidential Candidate [C1- C4].

4. The Late Senate Leader John McCain and his disputed records as a Prisoner of War.

His records have been disputed by other Prisoners of War and by his Vietnamese Prisoners Camp Guard.

The consequences of blackmailing is serious: No more hero, betrayal of fellow POW,

There are more dangerous signs on this Republican leader [M1- M7].

5. Former President Bill Clinton regarding Ms. Monica Lewinsky

The stories on this former President have mostly been revealed.

6. Conclusions

It does not look right with the FBI spending years looking for any flaw by President Trump while overlooking obvious dangerous signs of foreign influence on other influential political leaders.

It even looks farcical for FBI to look for any trace of foreign influence while American lawmakers overseeing it may be or are already half-foreign.

      • Welcome Tony Great Info: Only knew that Southern Ireland had duel passports and you could have two identities but was not aware of the complexity of US citizens or not ….. So does that mean Obama’s plan to allow immigrants into the country and allow citizenship would mean they can attain high office in the country does it ? And states like California are following same path with democrats and sanctuary cities ?

        • Yes, it looks to me that the US is being systematically dismantled by the Deep State.

          After the failure of Nixon’s administration to enforce exclusive citizenship for Americans, that country seems to take the Court’s resolution on the applicability of the laws for the intention of the founders of that nation. So that country allowed the ridiculous system of having half-foreigners occupying Congress and Senate offices. There should have been a referendum to resolve that issue rather than taking the non-applicability of some laws as the intention of the founders.

          If we extrapolate American way of working we will have a hypothetical situation of having an American born president who is awarded non-confirmatory citizenship of a foreign nation. Then neither the constitution nor laws preventing him from having dual citizenship.

          Does this make sense why the US had very erratic policy after Nixon’s era ?

          Dual citizenship destroys the integrity of American citizenship
