Qantas baggage handlers test positive to COVID-19 as South Australia records 32 new cases – ABC News

Qantas said a flight from Sydney to Adelaide on Tuesday afternoon was turned around while it was in the air because it was unable to service the aircraft.

It came after the six Qantas baggage handlers tested positive to COVID-19.

“Seven flights to and from Adelaide are affected,” a Qantas spokesperson said.

“This includes one Sydney flight that was on its way to Adelaide, which will
return to Sydney and passengers will be provided with accommodation and
put on alternative services tomorrow.”

Airline employees who might have had contact with the diagnosed staff “will be required to self-isolate for 14 days”.

“We are working to minimise any disruptions to customers who are flying in and out of Adelaide, although passenger numbers are significantly
reduced due to government travel restrictions,” the spokesperson said.

“In addition to enhanced cleaning measures introduced since the coronavirus outbreak at airports and on aircraft, we are conducting extensive
cleaning of common areas used by these employees in Adelaide.”

“If Getting Us Into $6 Trillion More Debt Doesn’t Matter, Then Why Not $350 Trillion?” – NATION AND STATE

Massie’s final point that was the punchline:

If getting us into $6 trillion more debt doesn’t matter, then why are we not getting $350 trillion more in debt so that we can give a check of $1 million to every person in the country?

Here the Kentucky Representative hit the bullseye, as this is precisely the endgame. However, since one can’t unleash the full $350 trillion overnight without classical economists admitting the truth about what the real nature of this bailout is, it will be done piecemeal with other crises, and other “unprecedented” emergencies emerging in the near future and unlocking the path to what is the real goal of this unprecedented reflationary bailout of the world’s most indebted nation. It also indirectly addresses Massie’s final point:

This stimulus should go straight to the people rather than being funneled through banks and corporations like this bill is doing. 2 trillion divided by 150 million workers is about $13,333.00 per person. That’s much more than the $1,200 per person check authorized by this bill.

The Coronavirus and China: A Theory – Angel Fox Media

Just a theory I came across on Twitter… After all, it’s just a theory. Here is where you can find this theory if you are curious:

How come Russia & North Korea are totally free of Covid- 19? Because they are the staunch ally of China. Not a single case reported from these 2 countries. On the other hand, South Korea / United Kingdom / Italy / Spain and Asia are severely hit.

+++How come Wuhan is suddenly free from the deadly virus? China will say that the drastic initial measures they took were very stern and Wuhan was locked down to contain the spread to other areas. I am sure they are using the Antidote of the virus.

Why was Beijing not hit? Why only Wuhan? Kind of interesting to ponder upon.. right? Well ..Wuhan is open for business now. America and all the above-mentioned countries are devastated financially. Soon the American economy will collapse as planned by China.

Suspected SARS Virus And Flu Samples Found In Chinese Scientists’ Luggage Arriving In The U.S.: REPORT

Comment by tonytran2015: One of the scary chain of events.

After examining the vials, however, customs agents came to an alarming conclusion,” Yahoo reported.

“Inspection of the writing on the vials and the stated recipient led inspection personnel to believe the materials contained within the vials may be viable Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) materials,” the report said.

The report, written by the Chemical and Biological Intelligence Unit of the FBI’s Weapons of Mass Destruction Directorate (WMDD), does not give the name of the Chinese scientist carrying the suspected SARS and MERS samples, or the intended recipient in the U.S. But the FBI concluded that the incident, and two other cases cited in the report, were part of an alarming pattern.

“The Weapons of Mass Destruction Directorate assesses foreign scientific researchers who transport undeclared and undocumented biological materials into the United States in their personal carry-on and/or checked luggage almost certainly present a US biosecurity risk,” reads the report. “The WMDD makes this assessment with high confidence based on liaison reporting with direct access.”

The report, which came out more than two months before the World Health Organization learned of a cluster of pneumonia cases in Wuhan that turned out to be COVID-19, appears to be part of a larger FBI concern about China’s involvement with scientific research in the U.S. While the report refers broadly to foreign researchers, all three cases cited involve Chinese nationals.

This is not a war: Coronavirus pandemic presents unique opportunity to rebuild a sense of common good – Counter Information

After decades of neoliberal policies that have resulted in the privatization of utility companies and pension funds, erosion of workers’ rights, divestment from public healthcare and other vital sectors and services, the experience and the notion of the common good have been rendered hollow. As a result, appeals to a population to act for the common good will fall on deaf ears and will not produce the same desired, emotionally charged effects as a declaration of war, implying the need to mobilize, to combine individual efforts and to make sacrifices.

AOC: Let us not neglect potential immigrants! | Jewamongyou’s Blog

Comment by tonytran2015: Haha!

Miss Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is outraged:

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is very upset that
potential immigrants won’t be receiving $1,200 checks in the $2 trillion
emergency relief bill unanimously passed by the Senate Wednesday night.

For example, we could clear out these useless trees to make room for apartment complexes:

It’s a shame that all this empty space is not being used for factories to help support our burgeoning immigrant population:

If only we had the political will, there’s no reason we can’t bulldoze these ugly, and uneven, rocks and build shopping malls:

As you can see, we have plenty of space that is not being utilized
for the advancement of diversity. I would even say that such waste is a
crime against humanity.

Wuhan Residents Dismiss Official Coronavirus Death Toll: ‘The Incinerators Have Been Working Around the Clock’ | National Review

Wuhan residents are increasingly skeptical of the Chinese Communist Party’s reported coronavirus death count of approximately 2,500 deaths in the city to date, with most people believing the actual number is at least 40,000.

“Maybe the authorities are gradually releasing the real figures, intentionally or unintentionally, so that people will gradually come to accept the reality,” a Wuhan resident, who gave only his surname Mao, told Radio Free Asia.

A city source added that, based on the aggregation of funeral and cremation numbers, authorities likely know the real number and are keeping it under wraps.

“Every funeral home reports data on cremations directly to the authorities twice daily,” the source said. “This means that each funeral home only knows how many cremations it has conducted, but not the situation at the other funeral homes.”

Rubio Says Media Reports Claiming US Has Most COVID-19 Cases is ‘Bad Journalism’ | The Epoch Times | Truth2Freedom’s Blog

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) on March 29 criticized U.S. media outlets for reporting the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) official data on its COVID-19 cases as fact.

Rubio said Sunday that media reports stating that the number of COVID-19 cases in the United States had surpassed China were “grotesque.” He called them “bad journalism.”

“Some in our media can’t contain their glee & delight in reporting that the U.S. has more #CoronaVirus cases than #China,” he wrote on Twitter. “Beyond being grotesque, its [sic] bad journalism.”
