Daily Caller Experienced Google Suppression, Says Editor in Chief

https://www.breitbart.com/tech/2020/07/30/daily-caller-experienced-google-suppression-says-editor-in-chief/

…Daily Caller editor-in-chief Geoffrey Ingersoll has said that the conservative news website has experienced Google search suppression similar to that reported by Breitbart News yesterday.

Based on Google’s defense that it manually blacklists “violent extremism,” Ingersoll pointed out: “We are not ISIS.”

“Specifically we struggled with search slowly dwindling until May 4 exactly. We broke down the analytics. The May 4 flat line is clearly the result of the human hand in the process,” said Ingersoll in a series of
tweets.

Alphabet Inc. CEO Sundar Pichai was grilled about Google’s search bias at the antitrust committee earlier today, with Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) pressing the CEO to explain leaks revealing that the Daily Caller and other sites were added to search blacklists.

Pichai responded by saying that sites were sometimes added to manual blacklists, to comply with law enforcement and tackle election interference and “violent extremism.”

Pichai neither confirmed nor denied that the Daily Caller and other conservative news sites added to Google blacklists are considered by Google to fall under these categories.

“The idea that we ended up on some blacklist because of some compliance partnership with law enforcement to stop extremism or election interference is just absurd. We have accredited personnel all over Washington, DC. We are not ISIS.” said Ingersoll.

If You Receive Unsolicited Seeds From China DO NOT PLANT Possibly Invasive Species – MidJersey.News

https://midjersey.news/2020/07/26/if-you-receive-unsolicited-seeds-from-china-do-not-plant-possibly-invasive-species/

The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS)
has been notified that several Virginia residents have received
unsolicited packages containing seeds that appear to have originated
from China. The types of seeds in the packages are unknown at this time
and may be invasive plant species. The packages were sent by mail and
may have Chinese writing on them.

Please do not plant these seeds. VDACS encourages anyone who has
received unsolicited seeds in the mail that appears to have Chinese
origin to contact the Office of Plant Industry Services (OPIS) at
804.786.3515 or through the ReportAPest@vdacs.virginia.gov email.

Invasive species wreak havoc on the environment, displace or destroy
native plants and insects and severely damage crops. Taking steps to
prevent their introduction is the most effective method of reducing both
the risk of invasive species infestations and the cost to control and
mitigate those infestations.

“Calling a spade a spade” and “calling a deer a horse”

#Calling a spade a spade, #calling a deer a horse, #political correctness,

One chengyu (Chinese idiomatic expression) that is derived from an incident involving Zhao Gao is “point to a deer and call it a horse” (指鹿為馬; zhǐlù-wéimǎ) or “calling a deer a horse“, meaning “deliberate misrepresentation for ulterior purposes”.[2] The Records of the Grand Historian records that Zhao Gao, in an attempt to control the Qin government,
devised a loyalty test for court officials using a deer and horse:

Zhao Gao was contemplating treason but was afraid the
other officials would not heed his commands, so he decided to test them
first. He brought a deer and presented it to the Second Emperor
but called it a horse. The Second Emperor laughed and said, “Is the
chancellor perhaps mistaken, calling a deer a horse?” Then the emperor
questioned those around him. Some remained silent, while some, hoping to
ingratiate themselves with Zhao Gao, said it was a horse, and others
said it was a deer. Zhao Gao secretly arranged for all those who said it
was a deer to be brought before the law and had them executed
instantly. Thereafter the officials were all terrified of Zhao Gao. Zhao
Gao gained military power as a result of that. (tr. Watson 1993:70)

The Western World is now going through that ancient experience. A spade cannot be called a spade any more or the speaker would be Politically Incorrect and labeled “Fascist”, “Denier”, “anti-$******” !

When this type of phenomenon arises there is certainly someone trying to rule the population by insidious means (A new USA Amendment to Define Words and Prohibit Against their Unauthorized Modification is required. posted on 2019 Aug. 26.).

Example 1:

Security

Security: noun, plural se·cu·ri·ties. freedom from danger, risk, etc.; safety. https://www.dictionary.com/browse/security

However

A security is a tradable financial asset. The term commonly refers to any form of financial instrument, but its legal definition varies by jurisdiction. In some countries and languages the term “security” is commonly used in day-to-day parlance to mean any form of financial instrument, even though the underlying legal and regulatory regime may not have such a broad definition. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Security_(finance)

Example 5:

Semitic people

Semites, Semitic peoples or Semitic cultures was a term for an ethnic, cultural or racial group. The terminology is now largely obsolete outside thegrouping “Semitic languages” in linguistics. First used in the 1770s by members of the Göttingen School of History, this Biblical terminology
for race was derived from Shem, one of the three sons of Noah in the Book of Genesis, together with the parallel terms Hamites and Japhetites. In archaeology, the term is sometimes used informally as “a kind of shorthand” for ancient Semitic-speaking peoples

The prefix anti means against, opposed to, opposite of, counteracting.

The prefix anti- is derived from the Greek word anti which means against, instead of, opposite of. Some examples of words using the prefix anti- are antibiotic which is a medicine that acts against microbes, antidote which is a medicine that acts against poison and antimatter which is a substance that is the opposite of matter. Anti- is a prefix that is often used to coin new, hyphenated words such as anti-elitist or anti-globalist.

Trump demands Congress ‘bring fairness to Big Tech’ or he’ll do it himself, ahead of antitrust hearing with four CEOs — RT USA News

https://www.rt.com/usa/496565-trump-big-tech-censorship/

US President Donald Trump has threatened executive orders to
“bring fairness” to major social media platforms, minutes ahead of a
congressional hearing featuring the bosses of Apple, Amazon, Facebook
and Google.
Shortly after noon on Wednesday, as the hearing was about to start, Trump blasted Congress for being “all talk and no action for years,” and said he would use his executive powers to deal with the tech giants if the lawmakers once again fail to do so.

Americans are “sick and tired of it,” he tweeted, presumably referring to congressional inaction as well as the rising tide of censorship on social media.

Wednesday’s unprecedented virtual hearing
in the House of Representatives is scheduled to feature the CEOs of
major US tech companies: Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, Apple’s Tim Cook,
Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, and Google’s Sundar Pichai. While its main focus is
supposed to be accusations they have engaged in monopolistic behavior,
several House Republicans have accused the companies of censoring
conservative viewpoints.

Congressman Matt Gaetz
(R-Florida) even referred Zuckerberg to the Department of Justice
earlier this week, saying the Facebook CEO gave misleading testimony to
Congress about content moderation practices.

On Monday morning, the White House announced actions to implement Trump’s executive order
from May that would see social media companies engaging in censorship
stripped of liability protections if they continue to act as publishers,
not platforms.

When the U.S. Patent Office Won’t Do Its Job, Congress Should Step In

https://nationandstate.com/2020/07/29/when-the-u-s-patent-office-wont-do-its-job-congress-should-step-in/

When people get sued by patent trolls, they can fight back in one of two places: a U.S. district court or the Patent and Trademark Office. But the Patent Office is putting its thumb on the scale again in favor of patent owners and against technology users. This time, the Office is relying on specious legal arguments to shut down patent reviews at the Patent and Trademark Appeals Board (PTAB).

The procedure that’s being undermined at PTAB is a procedure called inter partes review, or IPR. Congress created IPRs in 2012, as a faster and less expensive way of resolving patent disputes than district courts. Since then, they have become an important part of maintaining the patent system. Many patents (especially software patents) are granted after woefully inadequate examinations, and are ultimately invalidated when challenged in court. Given that, it makes sense to allow the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to take a second look at the patents they’ve handed out. The Patent Office granted more than 350,000 patents last year, and the median examiner review time is less than 20 hours. Mistakes happen. When users or small businesses are accused of patent infringement, they shouldn’t go broke trying to defend themselves in expensive court litigation.

The IPR system has proven effective. In the years it has operated, PTAB trials have invalidated more than 1,900 patents altogether. There have been several hundred more cases in which patent owners lost at least some of their

Unfortunately, a series of recent decisions is choking off access to the IPR process. The PTAB is now denying petitions on procedural grounds, to avoid carrying out the job that Congress tasked it with.

Sneaking spies and wartime secrets: Are there really hidden tunnels underneath Darwin? – ABC News

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-09-11/are-there-really-secret-tunnels-underneath-darwin/10213344

As the northern city was bombed in WWII, the
Government moved to protect oil that had been stored there in the 1920s.
The idea — which Mr Marchant described as a major effort — was to store
it in tunnels.

“Once they got inside, shale light rock interspersed with quartz outcrops collapsed it on their heads, so they had to use hammer and tap,” he said.

“So instead of taking a year to eight months to build eight tunnels, six were completed, eight were started, and today there’s only five left here in Darwin.”

They were eventually abandoned, but some are still visible.

The Media Is Hysterically Lying About Trump’s Alleged Fascism | The Wentworth Report

https://wentworthreport.com/2020/07/29/the-media-is-hysterically-lying-about-trumps-alleged-fascism/

by David Marcus.

“He’s a fascist!” Those well-worn words are back as the Trump administration deals with the lawless lack of order plaguing the streets of America’s cities. The gaslighting has been truly phenomenal.

Rioters in Portland, for example, have been setting fires and causing
havoc for nearly two months. Less than two weeks ago federal officials
moved in. Somehow, throwing basic math out the window, our progressive media concluded that the feds caused the riots weeks before they even
arrived.

If the left lie to this extent, how can a leftist victory in the election be regarded as legitimate?
