Same Sex Marriages create Rear Door Entry to beat Migration Control.

1. Migration control and marriages

Most advanced countries have compassionate concession to their citizens regarding the immigration of their oversea spouses. This is understandable as it is unreasonable and impossible to stop people from their marriage to oversea people.

A country usually allows its citizens married to foreigners to bring the foreigners into the country. After a while, each such foreigner would be allowed to remain permanently in the country and even obtain citizenship.

2. Same sex marriages.

Each country used to encourage the populating of its land by its own citizens. For that reason, the country gives many benefits to married heterosexual couple of citizens who want to raise their own children.

The lefties have now succeeded in having those benefits also granted to same sex couples who live together. There are now legalized “same sex marriages” in many countries.

The principal purpose of a nation giving benefits and concessions to encourage the populating and occupation of its land by its own citizens seems to have been forgotten. Nations now give all benefits and concessions to all “marriages” whether or not for the purpose of populating of its land by their own citizens.

3. Same sex marriages can beat immigration control.

The list of countries (at 2018) allowing same sex marriage are: Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, the United States

Any country C in that list that wants to send its citizens to another country A in the same list can easily arrange to have many “same sex marriages” of its citizens to citizens of A. After that those citizens of C “married” to citizens of A can migrate to A.

It is almost impossible to defined whether each such marriage is “genuine” or “sham marriage for the purpose of beating immigration control”.

There used to be questions ask by Immigration Officers to check whether a heterosexual marriage is genuine or not. How can anyone devise such check for “same sex marriage” ? Note that having sex is not an essential requirement for any same sex marriage.

#trade war, #predatory pricing, #product dumping, #tariffs,

Trade war tactics, Part 1: Predatory pricing and tariffs.

1. Predatory pricing

Every company has to produce more than a minimum number of products to survive and any new company entering an established market may not have enough share in that market.

Rather than avoiding a crowded market, some company may adopt a strategy of selling well under its costs for a while to edge out all its competitors to capture the WHOLE market then using its newly gained monopoly to impose higher than previous (fair) market price to recover the expenditure incurred in knocking out its competitors. The method of selling under costs to knock out competitors is called predatory pricing and is an illegal practice in the US as well as in many other English speaking countries.

2. Known hard to enter established markets.

Most industries have minimum levels of productions. Some even need a whole national market to operate.

Example 1:

International airlines need to have 60% of their seats filled to break even and are usually backed by their own countries.

Example 2:

Railway industries are hard to profit from but are usually subsidized by their nations.

Example 3:

Steel industries can only operate their furnaces and machinery at production levels which are usually high.

Example 4:

Even a restaurant also needs minimum number of clients every day to pay its rent and outgoings.

3. Resisting predatory pricing.

A new enterprise entering an established market may sell under cost to introduce itself to customers, such practice is legal in the US.

“Pricing below your own costs is also not a violation of the law unless it is part of a strategy to eliminate competitors, and when that strategy has a dangerous probability of creating a monopoly for the discounting firm so that it can raise prices far into the future and recoup its losses.” [1]

So it is difficult for affected competitors to argue against such practice using the antitrust law [2].

The difficulty is compounded when when the company selling below costs is a foreign company obtaining partially built products from oversea. The Federal Trade Commission of the US and of similar countries [3] may not have jurisdiction. The rules by World Trade Organization [4,5] may have to be relied on.

4. Predatory pricing between national economies.

Each nation wants to have a self-sufficient economy so that in time of imminent war the nation can close its border (for fear of attack, infiltration and espionage from its neighbors). It has been an established practice of closing the border when there is any possibility of war (This has also been a teaching by Sun Tzu in his ancient text Art of War [6]).

In peace time, traders from each country may carry their goods across the borders to other countries to make their own profits from the difference in prices. This cross border trade supplies people in different countries with goods at lowest prices and benefits all countries.

Unfortunately, there are always aggressive rulers who want to use the surplus capacity of their economy to disrupt the self-sufficiency of their neighbors. For example, a country C with a command economy (taking orders from the government regardless of profit or loss) may use its surplus capacity in its steel making to sell its (nationally subsidized) steel cheaply to its neighbor A. Such selling for a prolonged time will certainly destroys the steel production capacity of country A. After 20 years or so of selling steel to A, country C may suddenly cut off its steel trade with A and declare war against A. In such scenario, the country A would be totally defenseless against C as it has no steel to produce weapons and armament for its army.

In a less dramatic scenario, the country C may sell its steel cheaply to another neighbor V to destroy its steel production capability then C throttle its steel supply to V (both with quantity and with types) to control the economy of V.

Similarly, country C may sell cheaply agricultural produces to agricultural neighbor V to destroy the agriculture of V. Country C then can dictate to V what crop and when to plant. In this way country V is totally under the command of C.

5. Assessing susceptibility to predatory pricing.

Chinese population is 1.500 millions while American is 326 millions, Australian is 22 millions.

If China produces clothing for all its citizen and export part of its clothing to Australia, Australian clothing industry has to go bankrupt (and it had).

If China produces hardware for all its citizen and export part of its hardware to Australia, Australian hardware industry has to go bankrupt (and it had).

If China produces steel for all its citizen and export part of its steel to America, American steel industry may go bankrupt.

6. Tariffs to the rescue.

Fortunately, sovereign governments can use tariffs to protect their vital industry such as steel, aluminum, defense, telecommunication.

The tariffs can be set at various levels suitable for the protection of the vital industries while still allowing other industries access to imported goods. The question is only what is an appropriate level.

Too low a tariff may not offer enough protection for the vital industries while too high a tariff may deny access to imported goods for other industries and weaken the overall economy.

7. Trade war by predatory pricing and tariffs.

Without tariffs aggressive countries may use predatory pricing to harm their trading partners.

The defending countries may use tariffs for their protections and the aggressor may accuse the defenders of engaging in trade war and the aggressor also put up its retaliatory tariffs. The others may again increase their tariffs and the tariffs level may increase without bounds [7,8,9,10].

The level of mutual tariffs may increase such that there will be any international trade left and a number of countries may enter their recession. The self-sufficiency of each nation will then be its survival factor.

8. Conclusions

a. Tariffs are not nice to advocate of free-trade but they are here to stay.

b. Tariffs are necessary, only their appropriate levels have to be determined.

c. Once countries enter trade war, there will be reduction in international trade and a number of countries may enter their recession. Countries with self-sufficiency will outlast their competitors.

Expansionism by predatory loans

Expansionism by predatory loans.

Expansionism by predatory loans.

People in Western countries have seen with their own eyes the method of forcing sale of valuables of borrowers by predatory pay day lenders, short terms money lenders or underworld lenders. Basically the borrowers needing the money must use their valuables (watches, rings, antique items) as security to obtain short term loans from pay day lenders or money lenders or underworld lenders. The interest rate from these lenders are outrageously high (10% a week, or even 10% a day) such that the loan grows exponentially to the point that the borrowers cannot repay and have to lose their valuables.

This practice has now spread to inter-national dealings between nations. Some Western governments such as Australia has attempted to banish this practice inside their own nations between their citizens but there is no obvious way to banish the practice when it is done between governments on international level as a form of expansionism.

1. Predatory loans to countries having corrupt governments.

The lending nations lend money to the borrowing nations which are run by their own corrupt governments. When the borrower nations cannot repay, they have to cede their lands and seas to the lender nations.

The media as well as both the Australian Australia Foreign Minister Julie Bishop and the US secretary of States have revealed this practice at government levels [1-10].

It is terrible in that the borrowing nations borrow the money to build their infrastructure but most of the money are stolen by their corrupt officials through “kick backs” while only infra-structures of white elephant type are built. Finally the borrowing nations cannot repay the interests and has to cede their lands, seas to the lender nations.

2. Countries involved.

There are many borrower countries, most of them have opaque governments:

Sri Lanka has handed its port to China [11-12].

Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea [13-14].

The list goes on with small nations in China’s OBOR plan [15-16].

3. Conclusions:

People in the whole World should demand that:

a. The UN should require its members to have transparency in inter-national lending and development plans.

b. Auditing (by non-interested parties to those loans) is required on each loan for it to be legitimate as auditing is the only obvious way to help small countries from being devoured by shark lending practice.

c. Inter-government debts should NOT be recognized when it has no transparency and no independent auditing. Otherwise the debt burden will be placed on the people of small nations who had received little benefits from the loans.

If there is an agreement with Donald Trump that is unfavorable to China [2], Mr Un would have to hesitate using China Airline on his return trip. He may have to use Singaporean Airline or some Swiss Airline under escort by US and Japanese Airforces.

The incident to Lin Biao cannot be ignored [3].

(Blog No. 1xx).

#sonic weapon, #secret weapon, #US, #embassy,

Sonic weapons are real.

1. Theory

When you send to sound beams at 200,000Hz and 203,000Hz onto an object, that object WILL hear the beat frequency of 203,000Hz – 200,000Hz = 3,000Hz.
This is caused by the non-linear response of most materials, including the earlobes of the unsuspected victims.

The principle is familiar to radio amateurs and is known as demodulation using ring diodes to produce Intermediate Frequency from higher received and local oscillator’s frequencies.

2. Why should an attacker use two ultrasound beams.

Using two beams of ultrasounds avoids the appearance of obvious assault by loud noises, which is illegal in most country. Each ultrasound beam is also undetectable by ordinary people!

Furthermore, each beam is highly directional, with a wave length of only 300÷200,000 = 1.5mm.

The ears of the victim is the non-linear medium producing the beat frequency right inside the ears of the victim.

3. Possible counter-measures.

Earmuffs equipped with ultrasound sound meters may be effective.

Trade war traps: Australia has to ban unlicensed export of its formula milk.

The Federal Government of Australia, as a sovereign nation, has banned the unlicensed export of its formula milk [1]. This decision has been attacked by biased and short sighted critics in Australia. However the ban should be supported by Australian citizens as unrestricted Free Market may lead to the bankruptcy of domestic producers.

1. Small scale unofficial export of formula milk to China.

There has been unofficial, small scale export of its formula milk to China by Chinese students in Australia. This is understandable as Chinese formula milk has earned the notoriety of having added melanin in the past [1b]. Buying Australian formula milk and sending home make small profits for individual Chinese students [2,3,4]. They are allowed to send small quantities of Australian formula milk to China as gifts. However large scale unlicensed export to China should be banned.

2. Reasons for export control.

Chinese population is 1.500 millions while Australian is 22 millions. If Chinese people all decide to use Australian formula milk there will no more milk left for Australian babies.

3. Criticism by advocates of unconditional free market.

There are critics who advocated unconditional free trade. They said that the formula milk producers should have increased their production and the Federal government should encourage rather than restrict the export of Australian produced formula milk.

4. The fallacies of unconditional free markets.

Should the milk producers in Australia decide to increase their production they will then have to build factories and hire additional workers. What would happen if China then decide to ban its import of Australian produced milk? Australian milk producers would then go bankrupt for borrowing money for unproductive work [5,6].

If Australian milk producers go bankrupt they may have to be sold to Chinese owners. After that a steady sustainable market will be maintained for the new owners!

5. Can China be that nasty?

In 2010, Chinese grain and food traders had bought nearly all coconut fruits from Vietnamese farmers, pushing the price from 6000 VND (0.30 USD) to over 20000 VND (1.00 USD). Vietnamese farmers then abandoned many other crops to plant coconut trees (for example in Ben Tre region of Southern Vietnam). Three years later, when the trees start producing coconut fruits, Chinese grain and food traders disappeared, leaving the farmers with massively unsold stock. Those lucky farmers who could sell their coconut fruits got only 2000 VND (0.10 USD) for each fruit [7,8].

This pattern of tricking producers into producing into a glut market has been repeated many times in Vietnam (with rambutan fruits, lichee fruits, dragon fruits, in various provinces of Vietnam etc…). Greedy Vietnamese farmers in a lawless areas have also been tricked into producing leeches !

5. Conclusions

a. The Australian Federal Government has been absolutely right with its decision to ban the unlicensed export of Australian formula milk.

b. Trade war may be carried out under the name of Free Market: The Vietnamese agriculture events have shown that Free Market is nice in theory but is not so when there is some interference by some states.

The Parasites of Western Economy, Part 8: Body Corporate robbing owners of low cost dwellings.

There is an invention in the Western World to reduce the cost of owning a dwelling. Many people can pool their resources together and own a building. Each can then live in his own part of the building and can also sell and transfer his ownership as his needs change.

1. The role of a Body Corporate in a common building with many owners.

For example, four owners can pool resources to own a building with 8 rooms, 4 kitchens, 4 toilets. Each owner owns an “apartment” comprising of two interconnected rooms with separate kitchen and toilet. The building, its yards and fences are common property to all four owners.

By laws, there must be someone responsible for the whole building and its land, that person is the Body Corporate of the building. The Body Corporate is responsible for keeping the building safe and complying with all social requirements (from Local governments and neighbors). The Body Corporate is answerable to Local governments and neighbors. The owners of apartments must elect a Body Corporate to operate and be responsible for the building and its land.

Due to the ever increasing complexity of requirements placed on by Local governments, owners usually hire an external company to act as the Body Corporate for the building.

2. Robbery of owners by the Body Corporate.

The Body Corporate has a manager and he may carry out inefficient repairs to building and charge owners outrageous fees for the work.

Examples:

I have seen a Body Corporate engineer suggesting 30 owners to replace 30 windows because one window has cracked due to foundation movement ! When faced with the question, he could not justify his recommendation.

I have seen the same Body Corporate suggesting 36 owners to break up all concrete pavement and re-concrete it because some slabs are not level.

I have also seen the same Body Corporate replacing windows and charging each owner $6000 for works that is worth of no more than $3000.

3. Owners can prevent robbery.

a. Owners should not let Body Corporate decide on the type of works it likes without justification. Reasons for works and costs should be scrutinized.

b. Owners who cannot vote should not give their vote to the Body Corporate Manager. Doing so would make it hard for other owners to argue against expensive works by Body Corporate.

c. Prospective owners should not buy ownership of any apartments with high Body Corporate fees. This will force existing owners to care about the financial wastes of their Body Corporate.

4. Conclusions

a. There should be a State register of complaints against Body Corporate Companies and register of their spending on the repairs of various buildings so that owners of common dwellings know whom they have to avoid appointing as their Body Corporate.

b. Older citizens should know that selling a large property to own a small apartment may not reduce their expenses if Body Corporate Companies of the apartments are allowed to rob them.
